Aujourd'hui

Hey folks, going to make this post quick.

Hope you guys are all doing okay and have made it home safe and sound by now. Based on how quick everything is moving I don't want to stress anyone out with a bunch of questions about how they're doing and what's happening with their programs but I am more than happy to listen if you guys want to talk or vent about anything! I am very grateful for the support you guys showed me when I was sad about my program getting cancelled, so if there's anything I can do please let me know - always happy to just listen too.

Things are crazy in Massachusetts, as they probably are in your respective states. Public schools are closed through April 7th plus a lot of businesses.

My siblings are working from home now so we are just quarantining in the old abode.

I got two job offers at cafes last week but obviously they're kind of off the table (neither has followed up) given how things are going, so my situation is pretty uneventful. I might start volunteering at my summer internship remotely, but for right now we're just hunkered down in Norwood.

I started French Duolingo because Rachel reminded me that we all need to move to Montreal post-grad and that lit a fire under me. Today I learned that the French word for "today" is "aujourd'hui." That's so stupid, non offense.

Well, let me know how quarantining is going for you all. Maybe drop movie recommendations if you have any? Great time to watch some great new films.

My recommendation this week: Thoroughbreds (2017 I think). A fun fast-paced female-led dark comedy. Fans of Heathers will like this one.

We obviously are gonna live in Cote de Neigé, amiright ladies?? we gotta be close to Alex!Anywayyy, Georgia isn’t necessarily closed but they are implementing a lot of social distancing stuff. But I hope you learn French, that would be cool. I need to start practicing again, I am better at listening than speaking now (it use to be the opposite). Like I was talking to this girl and she was talking to me in French I kept responding in frenglish cause the vocabulary just wasn’t there :///. Maybe we can practice together!

ooh yes, I'm a fan of heathers! on the plane they actually had a lot movies I've been wanting to watch. the flight was 11 hours so I was like wow! I can watch so many. But in the end.. I slept mostly. It was good tho bc it definitely didn't feel like 11 hrs. I started Joker.... didn't get too far lol bc that's when I was getting really sleepy. Then I watched Knives Out and another one. Dang, I really can't remember what it was and I've spent the past 10 min trying to remember/find out.... must've really been that nonmemorable... anyways! Knives Out was pretty good

schools are also closed in Boise, and I'm very happy you…
