When it Rains, it Pours

So, there was a mini baby hurricane called, Danielle. Nothing serious, me, Naoni, and Erin tried to make the best of our time and plan around the rain. But when we went to North Georgia... we planned wrong. We hiked down to the waterfall, it was cute or whatever, but I noticed the clouds were getting dark and that we should head back up to the parking lot. It was no more than 5 minutes from me saying that when the sky opened up. It was pouring rain, that my water-resistant jacket started to get bogged down, and then it just started getting soaked with water. Unbeknownst to me, my pockets were filling with water and my phone was submerged in a puddle of water. When we got into the car, I was soaked, but I was like at least my phone is safe. Took it out of my pocket. The screen had all of these green lines on the screen and then just shut down. I tried to let the water out, but we were an hour and some change from home. My phone overheated and since then it has just been unresponsive. It makes me so sad. I've avoided cracks, scratches, overheating, and so much more. For a rainstorm to take it out...

Aside from that, while Erin was here, the car's windshield got cracked, the car got booted, and we didn't get our ear pierced because I confused Tuesday with Wednesday somehow, and I got super sick yesterday! I just feel bad that things didn't go perfectly when Erin was here. I feel like the weather was an overall preventer of things we wanted to do because we planned to do so many outdoor things. It just kind of sucked, but I had fun chatting it up with Erin, and seeing my home through a different lens. I hope she enjoyed the not so perfect time with us. My mom went crazy in the kitchen, we got to see some naturey stuff, and went to Atlanta for the day, so it wasn't a complete bust. Until next week y'all :-*
