So, I just found out where I'll be staying for the next 2 years. It's going to be Siem Reap. I'm living with a rich host family that literally has a housemaid in it! I think that I got pretty lucky. Though, I am pretty sad that I'm not going to be close to all of my friends (my closest friends from site A are 2 hours away). I think that there are a lot of things for me to do at my site, though, and I think that I'll be very busy. I applied for a diversity position, I'll be teaching English, and I'll be most importantly I'll be integrating with my host family. I'm honestly not overly sad about being alone, but I can really tell you how I feel next week when I'm there...okay, here are some pics and ttyl!
Wow!!!! That sounds so exciting to be moving to the city!!! I am so sorry that you are leaving good friends though. Hopefully you all will get to meet up again while you are there. But I am sure your host family will keep you busy during you visit! Loved the pics and keep em coming!
