I went to New Hampshire for the first time (like actually staying for more than 2 hours). So first off I was driving there and obviously Smith College is in a valley surrounded by mountains. Tell me why some hoes were like OMG I'm getting car sick can you drive slowly. Like, no I can't I'm going up and down a mountain. If I slow down while driving down I will be messing up the breaks and then I will have to press down the gas when I'm going up and lose too much gas.
Anyway, sorry for that rant. When I arrived I got to sleep in a bunk bed which was really fun. Even though we were in a basement and had to listen to the extroverts above me going crazy, it reminded me of high school when I went to another fun program, Girls Who Rule the World. It made me feel really nostalgic. I wasn't able to eat too much when I first got there, but the freedom of having a car allowed me to drive EVERYWHERE. It was so great!
We also sat out at a bonfire which was nice, chilly, but nice. It has been a while since I was able to just sit out in nature and just enjoy all that it has to offer without stressing about other things, you know!
Side Note: I have been really sad on campus because I have been feeling really homesick. I will say that now I have been feeling a little better and I want to thank all of my friends that I have around me that makes this hell called Smith feel a little bit more of a home :))
Heaux be like 😪 That sounds like a lot of fun! Did they have vegan marshmallows for ya? Remember the surf s’mores in the heat of the summer? That was fun :-) I love a good bonfire. A lot!!
Wow that looks so nice! I don't know the last time I've been around a bonfire honestly. This has big summer camp energy it looks very peaceful :^)
