So this Saturday I went to Salem. It was very interesting to people watch. A lot of people were in costumes. It felt like it was already Halloween, but the most interesting thing was that I saw a girl dressed in a Harajiku costume, and she was so into character it was cool. Anyway, people watching was super fun, but then I got back to campus and decided to go to a party with Isabel Gomez. This party was exactly what you see in movie everyone was actually dancing and having fun, there was good music, and I was super happy that Isabel invited me. Unfortunately there was something that happened that I won't say in this post, but if you really want to know text/call me. When it was time to leave I had to LITERALLY drag someone from the powerhouse to the bus stop because I was a little mad and didn't want to miss the last bus of the night. Overall the experience was really interesting and glad that I had it. That night I went to sleep at 5:20 am and woke up at 10 am and grinded until I couldn't. Also, I read two Naruto novels over the course of like 5 days. It was a fascinating book with a lot of philosophical questions and I would suggest you all to read it! I kind of felt accomplished that I finished the book, but empty because it was consuming my life and I didn't know what else to do with my free time. This is the reason I decided to stop reading books because I don't have a healthy relationship like I will read it and analyze it until I am consumed by it and all I do is sit by myself and read until my eyes start shaking. You maybe be asking yourself how can she like to read if she has dyslexia and the answer is because when I read things that are interesting the challenge of reading is outweighed by my interest, donc, oui, c'est ca. Anyway I started feeling really overwhelmed Monday and Tuesay since those are my busiest days and I don't have time to waste because I either in class or doing homework for the next class which is why I can't relax too much on weekends. I also accidentally yelled at Gosnell on Tuesday because he couldn't spell Tatou. Every time I told him how to spell it he would think I was trying to restart the spelling but it was simply the T repeats itself, so I yelled at him to not erase it again. This was how the conversation went...
*He had Toto on the board*
T-A-
he would erase the second to leaving Tota
No, T-A-T-O-U
he erased To in the beginning leaving Touta
no, T-A-T-O-U
he erased the whole thing and wrote that, thought about it and was about to erase it again and it yelled
NO!!!
It was very chaotic :))
Anyway I am in amazement by the trees up here in New England. In Georgia as soon as the temperature goes below 60 the trees instantly drop their leaves, so the foliage there is like a max a week-long process and even if the temperature goes back to the 60s and 70s they won't slow down their foliage. New England is different in that it's drug out and you really get to see the true colors of trees when the chlorophyll is gone it amazed me that chlorophyll can take up so much space in the leaves and hide these beautiful colors.
Salem!! I’ve always wanted to go. Mark my words I will one of these days. Probably next year if ose goes?? The harajuku girl does sound quite interesting I’m sorry things didn’t go completely well but it sounds like it was fun at least at first Also interesting insight towards your relationship with books. I used to do that but I never saw it as an unhealthy thing. I guess bc I knew eventually I’d get over it. I miss feeling that kind of obsession over a book/tv series :-( Lolll you almost yelled at gosnell!! What is tatou? I like the reflections in the tree pics
I like the street art, those are from Salem right? Also the foliage is nice up here ain’t it! And the whole book thing is what makes books great, they enrapture you. So it’s not you, every true reader is like you— including me!
those foliage pics are so beautiful ;-;
Also drop those Naruto novel titles :0
