Mother-by-Proxy

So this week marks me becoming a mother for the summer. High key I didn't want to do this, but I love my niblings enough that it doesn't bother me too much. I still wanted to be free this summer, but theoretically I'll have from early August until about mid-September to be responsibility free, and hopefully I can enjoy it! But I was surprised that I went out casually drinking on Monday. I usually don't like to drink because it's too expensive, however Texas Roadhouse has $5 on Mondays and me and the crew thought it would be a nice way to pass the time before Bassy boy had to go in for work. It was quite nice, and we laughed and talked for like 4 hours. It reminded me of the times when we had fewer responsibilities and were allowed to freely loiter without a care. But during our long hang out sesh Sebastian said, and I quote “Did you know, the small intestines are the most valuable thing on the black market?" Not only was mans wrong, but he was so casual about it lol. It really caught me off guard and I felt the need to share it with you all :p

Anyways I've been trying to get into musicals, albeit hesitant, by highly encouraged by May. I watched one called "Cabaret" and thoroughly enjoyed it and would suggest it to y'all. I also watched "Everything, Everywhere, All at Once" it was definitely a fever dream and towards the end I was tired of it, but a movie I would suggest others to watch and of course watching it with Komlan made it 10x funnier and made the length a little more bearable (I like how he reasons with my complaints and makes me realize that I'm whining about nothing lol). I also watched my fave movie with me friend Marina after Margherita Monday, and it made me so happy, do you know my fave horror movie? And I made contact with M** and K**** and talking them made me so happy. I laughed so hard with K that I could hardly go to bed when I was supposed to. And M is just such a nice constant in my life that makes me re-evaluate the way I'm looking at life and the things going on in it.... But speaking of re-evaluation, I'm going to my first Mexican party and I hope that it'll change my life. Like I hang out with a lot of Mexicans, but party-wise, it's been pretty Caribbean centered, so I'm excited to see how this weekend goes XD!!!!
