May is the Best

So... guess what. One of my besties came, and it made me so happy!

I had so much fun that the only thing that made me sad was that she was going to be leaving in less than 54 hours! It was all too quick. I was happy, but knew that I was on very limited time. So the first day she came, we picked her up from the airport and talked into the night like the good ole days. The next day I went to work, but as soon as I got off we went to the Coke factory. She enjoyed it, but said that she feels torn because it's a major propaganda.

In any case we made the most of it and got slutty vegans. She really liked the "Heaux Boy" which was a slutty version of a po boy lol. Then disaster struck, my germ infested niblings got me sick. It started with a horribly runny nose and then the coughing started...but for the evening we started watching this trash reality show called "The Ultimantum." I don't suggest it to anyone, but lowkey I do. It was soooooo badddd. One of the cast members was facing such blatant racism that we had to make a reddit post about it lol. It's very well articulated and if you watch the show I'll share the post with you, promise. Sunday rolled around, and me and Naoni's cold peaked. We literally had to take meds (which as you know means that we actually needed it). But we tried to carpe diem with May and decided to go tubing. It was a nice ride, but tubing nonetheless was hard. Usually it's relaxing because the 'hooch just take you down, but I was literally pushing us down the river and our butts were scraping across the bottom of the river. So the unfortunate and good thing about May coming this weekendwas that it was sunny. This affected the river though because it's used to the daily flooding from the storms we get every day... so conditions were less than favorable. There were so many human traffic jams. The worst and most heartbreaking part though was when I lost the stick. It got jam in between to rocks because I was trying to push off from it, but when I tried to pull the stick out I lost my grip and watched as I slowly drifted away (I'm p sure this other family grabbed it too T_T). However, I was just happy to shoot the 'hooch with my fave peeps, so it was fine. And after a long day of fighting our way down the river, we drove to get some pizza from Mellow Mushrooms (which is apparently a Georgia chain that I suggest y'all try when you can!). We returned and tried to complete some more of the puzzle, and we were off to bed.

Our last day we went thrifting. May got this super cool leather jacket and I got this button down with these cute buttons!!! Then we were speeding to get May to the airport, and she was gone...like a gentle antelope galloping into the night. I literally missed her as soon as she got out of the car, and hopefully I'll see her soon.

In an arresting development, another one of my friend is coming over this weekend, but you'll find out who next week ;). In any case, appreciate the pic I took this week!

(P.S. I accomplished one of my New Year's goal by wearing something uncomfortable which was the shirt that had my titties out lol. I was uncomfortable, but glad I went out of my fashion comfort zone, lol.)
