Indians and Indians

Honestly growing up I thought that Indian culture was so beautiful! Like I love the elaborateness of the culture from their sarees, food, jewelry, morals, and architecture. Everything about it amazing. I remember admiring at such a young age and to be honest my admiration hasn't really gone away. I just don't talk about because I don't want people to think I'm like an indiaboo lol.

I know you all think I'm a weeb, but I only really like Japanese animation and their way of telling a story. I've learned a lot about the culture through these animes and poems (BSD had me reading Chuuya's poem lol), but the culture isn't something I necessarily admire, but can appreciate. Other than that I really admire Native American culture especially Blackfoot, (sorry had to make a shout out lol) Iroquois, and Inuits. I like how they value family a lot as well as how in tune they are with nature in a more life dependent way. Me like this.

I think it’s important to listen and respect Mother Nature (but my perspective is bias). Also something else that I like in Blackfoot culture, and I’m pretty sure for a lot of other Native American cultures, is this lesson of enduring pain quietly. I feel like it’s kind of metaphorical for life. And I feel you on the whole Japanese culture thing, I think you summed it up well. And Indian culture seems pretty cool too, especially it’s “aesthetics”— but tbh I…
