Food mostly

My main photos this week were of food.... so I guess that was what my week was mostly about! I'll take you on a little tour. This weekend Malika came over and we cooked up a storm. I also was stressing over my physics lab report and homework. While trying to do the problems I was not getting anything at all. But seeing the answers and the process I definitely learned along the way. I forgot how to study for physics, but I do think it's helpful and important to see how things are solved.... this week I better be better about it all!!!

I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day <3 I was working from home but that turned into midday nap.... so I didn't get to spend that much time with H (we are watching the latest season of You), but we'll make up for it later. I've also been thinking about my friends a lot. I'm really grateful for them, especially me fellow bloggers. You guys are some of my best friends :D I know I am not always a good friend, so I'm lucky to have people so gracious and kind-hearted. I know it's not very easy for everyone right now for different reasons. Garde la pêche !

Anyways, here's my food tour:

[On Thursday I went with Mary, Zach, and Nicole back to the place with what I consider the best pancakes I've ever had. Other than the celebration of Black History this month, it is also the month of pancakes apparently. So this place had different pancakes throughout the month. When we went there was a scrumptious maple bourbon pecan flavor. We had these truffle brussel sprouts. They don't look like much, but they were the best brussel sprouts I've ever had probably. And then I had a fried chicken sandwich. Not gonna lie, my tummy was hurting after this meal (the pancakes were super rich), but it was 100% worth it.]

[Malika and I had lemon salmon with smashed potatoes, roasted broccoli, and this yummy kale/cabbage/garlic butter thing. I've never cooked cabbage.... but now I know how! And I would definitely make again. Afterwards we made an apple crumble. It was divine ]

[Yesterday me and my roomies got pizza and Kenzie and I shared this cute heart one. Sorry to all the haters, but there was pineapple. In the middle is a gochujang veggie mix I had made and ate with seared trout. And I've been back on my dalgona kick. I finally got some proper instant coffee and oat milk and now I'm obsessed. I don't think I like keurig coffee so much (Kenzie has one), and I wouldn't buy an espresso machine, so this is a good alternative in my book. The only hassle is whipping up the dalgona part... but even with having to clean the hand mixer and bowl and everything, I know it's so much better than doing it by hand (I don't know why we even did that at my house when we have a mixer...)]

That's all I have for now! Just trying to get things together as always in life.

Djdndjrodospskjf the food looks so good dude!! Food truly is so fun, idk how more people aren’t foodies tbh 💁🏾‍♀️

The heart shape pizza is cute, tho I will say I hate the pineapple part (I am definitely judging you for it ;P)

Sebastian has been making me dalgona and they deceptively easy but also hard to make if that makes sense. You should try getting a hand frother tho, it makes the foaming process easy and quick.

You’re one of my best friend too mamas, all the bloggers are! But the food you’ve been eating makes me miss America. The land of weird food combos that always somehow work and taste delicious!
