Only two more days until the last day of classes and eight days until I leave and I am so stoked! However, there a lot of things I have to do in these next few days such as a poster presentation, a research paper ( I started it and its already twenty something pages (without figures)), a scheduled final THIS Friday, social obligations most of the weekend, study for my physics final, and packing. I am more excited to get these last few things out of the way than stressed by them.
Oh! Last Wednesday my prof drew a very inappropriate picture in class and at first I zoned out while she was drawing the visual for practice question. So when I could focus again, my eyes literally bugged. Everyone was acting like it was fine and I was just like 0-0 the entire time and when we could finally work on the question me and Claire looked at each and burst out laughing. Later that day we went to our tutors for the class and told her the story and proceed to demonstrate what I teacher drew and she started dying laughing.
On Friday, there was a talent show for Capen house. Originally me and Aboni weren’t going to do anything but we were feeling crazy and did this for our house:

Surprisingly, everyone was receptive to the performance and it was endearing. Then on Friday it was winter weekend. Honestly, this was the WORST winter weekend and usually it starts off wack but usually I can try to make the best of it and have fun, but not this time ://. The music was reallllly bad (they literally played Shrek’s song (rockstar for all those who are uncultured) and other fun but not party songs) and honestly most of the “fun” people either left early or just weren’t there. So it was a short and early night for me, and I was kind of sad about it. But one highlight was the banner: it was really cool and well drawn.
And yesterday, we had a pre-departure meeting for Smith yesterday and it was fun! I met some cool peeps and I am now more than ever excited to study abroad!
That really is a cool photo! You guys are dressed really nice as well :-) and woahhhhhh what talent 😮 I love it so much I have to say though, that it does seem that you all are in middle school That prof was asking for it tho
Our picture together is so cool!
