Sooooo, my MBTI is INFJ. The I means that I am introverted (obviously), the N means that I see patterns and possibilities, F means I prioritize people and emotions, and J means that I prefer structure and order. I really identify with my MBTI because a lot of the stuff that this personality explains how I interact and deal with life is very accurate. Also, apparently INFJ is the rarest personality, which I find interesting because I seem to always find people that also have the same personality type as me. Honestly, I don’t really know what else to say sooooo I will just leave things here with this week’s theme :D
Anyway, this weekend I went to New Orleans with Aboni and Sebastian as a day trip (and it was a day trip in all literalness, we left Georgia at midnight on Sunday and came back to Georgia around 11 something). And driving through the triplet states of Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi that Georgia is by far the best of them all. Alabama and Mississippi have really bad infrastructure in terms of highways. For example when driving through Alabama, we kept on scrapping the bottom the car’s shield on bridges because they were too pointy and the beginning and end of the bridges. Anywho, when we took a rest stop in Mississippi, me and Aboni and Sebastian were assaulted by a bunch of kissing bugs. We tried to see the scenic view that the rest stop offered, but as we walked there were a bunch of bugs that kept hitting and landing on our faces. At first we thought we were just walking through a swarm of them but then the longer we walked the more and more they kept getting in our face, so much so that it was overwhelming and forced us to turn and go back to the car. At that point Aboni started freaking out and screaming and even though I was scared by the bugs I couldn’t help but laugh at her as she kept running and screaming and swatting at the air. Later we found out, that we were being attacked by kissing bugs which are attracted to carbon dioxide and when they land on your face, they kiss/bite you. And when they do, they can transmit a disease called chagas but it is rare so hopefully none of us get it and die :’). As for NOLA itself, it really ain’t all that. There isn’t anything really spectacular about it. Sure, it has an aesthetic but that’s really it. The place seems to have poor infrastructure from the numerous dead huge roaches to the many black rat trap boxes to the many houses and buildings that have gigantic nails above their gates. It just seems like a bad city that tries to mask its issues with its aesthetic. Even though I don’t think I will ever go back to New Orleans or Louisiana in general, I still had fun :) Imma add some pics below:
Alrighty, that is all for now. I hope you guys are doing great and I will add some pics from this week. Ttyl dudettes :D
Okieeee, byeeeeee-o!
I can definitely see how INFJ fits you in all the aspects! Do you remember if you're type A or T? My guess is T hahaha, but maybe you'll surprise me. Day trips are a special kind of trip imo, and it's crazy that you drove there and back all within 24 hours. It's a shame New Orleans wasn't that great to you, but at least now you know and don't have to wonder! I've been interested in going, and I'm surprised my family has never gone because when we were in Texas we'd go on a fair number of road trips. The photos you got make it seem pretty beautiful though, but that goes to show how photos aren't…
Awwwww! Well at least you got go see and survive New Orleans!! And being back with those happy babies sounds like fun!
