Ending these weekly blog posts is bittersweet. On one hand I am glad to not receive a rush of adrenaline every night around 10:30 when I remember to post but also I am going to miss seeing everyone’s adventures as well as sharing my own. I believe this blog been a fun experience. I loved coming up with the idea and the foundational work (I choose to actively ignore some of the annoying parts) to sharing it with friends and family. Additionally, over the past year and a quarter (63 weeks is my records for me personally, but I have a week or two here and there) of posting, I have developed a better urgency to photograph the little things/moments. Prior, I usually only ever took photos to remember the moments but that was mostly for things that were once and lifetime things/events or cute things. But thanks to the blog, I have become a better “photographer” (a strong word but that’s all I can think of). Additionally, I am going to miss having a little peephole into my friends’ lives. I thoroughly enjoyed reading people’s opinions on this or that and seeing what cool/exciting/different things my buds were up to! But like in the wise words of Robert Frost “Nothing Gold can Stay” so I guess like with most other things it must come to end. It is not to sound solemn but I knew deep down that there would be some extenuating situations that would one day arise that would stop the blog. Did I think it would be a global pandemic that would do it? No. But I did think it would be something. So yeah, those are my last words. Until Next Time America!
Bye Heauxs!
