My Update After Two Weeks

Helloooo all, I am back after 2 weeks! I’ve been in Georgia for these few weeks and it has been nice. My first day upon coming home I had to move EVERYTHING back into my house which was a doosie to say the least, but once we finished moving everything in we did a few house renovations. It took a total of week to finish everything but afterwards it was nice and cozy to be home :).

As for my holidays they were okay. A few days before Christmas eve, my niblings stayed over and did some Christmas-y stuff together like set up the Christmas tree and “tested” cookies for Santa’s.

But one night my niblings started freaking out when they were going to my room and was like “What’s going on?” And they were like “It’s aliens!” So I started getting scared cause aliens lowkey/highkey scare me. Reluctantly, I went into my room to look but there were no aliens, it was just the outside Christmas decorations that were flashing in my windows. I told them to chill out and they were like “But we can’t, the aliens are gonna get us!” So my mom and Aboni had to take them outside to show them there were no aliens. When we proved it to them, they were relieved and started dancing with the lights until we heard a gunshot and went back inside.

That was as Christmas-y as my family got because on Christmas my mom got sick and had to go to the hospital because she was having trouble breathing. Upon going there they told her that she was dehydrated and had to get an IV drip. Then the day after Christmas she had to go back to the hospital because my mom had a really high fever and was shivering like crazy. But luckily, within a few days she was able to get better. Then for New Years, I went to my friend’s house. We ate, we chatted, we annoyed her new dog, and by the New Year we went outside to watch her neighbor’s spectacular firework show.

After the holiday season, I have been spending time between my family and friends. It was my goal to see all of my friends back in georgia before I go abroad. Luckily I was able to see all my heauxs except the biggest one of all: Sebastian :((. He said that he will try to come to Copenhagen but no promises. Anyway, Aboni and I went through one of our photo album when we were facetiming Claire and stumbled across some really old photos. I thought it would be nice to share some of those pics!
