Hewwwooo guys! This week marks the start of our themes for our posts which I am really excited to start, this week the theme is about events we are most hopeful for our senior year. And I gotta say, even though I am not the “This is our last year we have to do [insert “last” event] together” I have a lot I’m looking forward to. To keep things organized, I will list my things in relative chronological order so with that let’s get into it!
First, I am excited to move back into Capen. I am excited to be back in a school environment again and I am especially excited to see my roommate again (best roommate ever!) and my besties (bestest friends ever!).
I am excited to visit the Friedmans so that I can see the cool kids and cook, I am excited to bring hygge to Smith ;)
I also want to go to Packard’s and try to do as trivia as much as possible (not every night it happens but at least every so often).
I also want to take advantage of the city bikes so that I can ride the bike trail again and ride to the Pie bar. Hopefully I can encourage enough people to come along and have a little gaggle of bikers like the girls off of Skate Kitchen (if you know you know).
I am hopeful that I can have fun in all my class (which I think will be possible but I am interested in all my classes this semester and I don’t have lab :’)).
I am also excited to have back the 90 Day Fiance nights with the funniest ladies; I miss these so much because it hasn’t happened since like sophomore year.
And I am especially excited for the OSE trips: those really raised my spirits in previous years and I know it will do so again this year.
Ooof, I am realizing this list is becoming long so I am going to limit this list to just this semester. But yeah, those are some of my hopes for senior year. I feel like this is truly my last time to make the most out of Smith (I have no intentions of going back to Smith once I graduate) so I want to try to leave some good memories so I can look back at Smith and my time there fondly. I feel like honestly First-year, first semester was the only good time at Smith where I enjoyed my classes and my friends. Since then, my time at Smith has been far from that between having a major depressive episode my sophomore year to focusing intently on grades and being sent home early from study abroad my junior year to a bunch of other problems that’s too extensive and a buzzkill to mention. So I say all that to say that I am trying to make a comeback for myself and save my image of Smith, but I have much hope that it will happen next semester,-- no, my entire senior year!

I get what you mean. It does feel like next year is last time we can make the most out of Smith..I guess cause it is. Like regardless of whether we go back or not. Because even if we visit it won't be the same.

this post is very wholesome :') I really want to go biking next year I'm actually looking forward to it so much! We should go back to the pie bar again for sure. And trivia!! Also I should prolly save this for Rachel's post lol but Gohyang restaurant in Hadley has Noraebang and I've heard that it's a weird but fun experience so we should go :0
