Impending Doom

I have never experienced as much bad luck as I have since my mom has been here-- I have missed trains and bus, been stranded, and come to class late several times 😭😭. I think it's from all the poles we split (I tried to ignore it because I know it annoys her, ig I shouldn't have in retrospect). I am scared to see what is to come to next T-T

Anyways, I am mad tired so I am going to end here and add some photos-- maybe next week I'll talk more but we shall see! Ciao :D

My mom really wanted to see the hall of mirrors, so went there the first day she arrived

She wanted me to take a pic despite my looking like a knight of darkness

She was enamoured by the Arc

She was so happy to eat a sandwich and look at the Eiffel Tower

I took my mom to see my town's botanic garden and she liked the little house

I never really pay attention to my cathedral at night (since I am always speed-walking back home at those times) but it looks really grand with the lights :0

She had her first french meal, equipped with a cider and nuts, a galette, a crepe, and coffee!

I enjoyed the meal as well

Idk why, but I like this stairwell-- admire it too!

I dropped off my mom for her to meet Aboni in Paris, I felt like I was letting a kid take the train by themselves for the first time 😂

They put umbrellas in the streets, I thought they looked cute

We stood on top of the cliffs to see these cliffs

And stood on the cliffs I showed above to see these cliffs!, ngl I thought the trek was going to be difficult but it was really easy!

We got stuck in a town for an hour that had a cute little river

And we took even cuter pics to pass the time ;P

Had a little goûter on the river before Aboni left for her town

When I returned home, there was a bunch of birds outside of my window

Went to an undisclosed beach and ate icecream :)
