Bop it! Pull it! Shop it!

Updated: Jun 10, 2020

I have been going to bed once my mom starts getting ready for work, so every time I hear her alarm I know I need to go to bed which is around three in the morning. I only mention this because I am writing this thing an hour before her alarm goes off.

Anyway, my friends and I went to the mall this weekend and all of us bought vans. These are my first pair of on-brand shoes since eighth grade, and it was pretty nice: I finally had a purpose for going to the mall. Also, we went into Charming Charlie’s for Aboni to buy a wallet. While there we found some pretty dope sunglasses and had to take pics.

We're cool cats

Speaking of shopping, Aboni and I went thrifting and we hauled some pretty cool stuff. Rachel suggested a thrifting haul and I thought it was a good idea. So here it is:

Also, I was so happy to get the traveling notebook, I couldn’t stop smiling when I was reading through it: it’s really cute. I hope to fill it with some good memories and I am excited to send it to the next undisclosed person next month!

Lastly, we have four days of thunderstorms starting Wednesday and I am so stoked for them! Storms always brings my family together as we have to unplug everything to prevent a power surge (I don't know if this a thing for people who don't experience a lot of bad t-storms but we do this so that if our house or power line is struck by lightning it doesn't fry everything plugged into the circuit) which forces us all into one room and to talk in the evening (that is when storms usually start). Then when it is time for bed, the soft pattering of the rain is nice to fall asleep to. I love it :)

But I hope all is well with everyone and as Jermbot would day: do good today

The clothes from your thrift haul are mad cute! And your thunder storm thing kinda reminds me of the episode of Arthur where they go through their first thunder storm
